What I find particularly delightful about this is the fact that Loki can alter his appearance (technically the perception of his appearance, but whatever) at will, which means that either a) he is in some kind of magic-suppressing cell somewhere, or b) that he is CHOOSING TO LOOK LIKE THIS out of some melodramatic self-pitying streak.
Obviously, I choose to believe the latter is true.
A THOUSAND TIMES YES.
Heh, well, melodrama and self-pity are two of Loki’s most dominant personality traits…

EVEREST starring Tom Hardy.
George Mallory is believed by many historians to have been the first man to have successfully climbed Mount Everest, 30 years before Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay.
George never returned from his third attempt to reach the summit, which appears to have been his last attempt at scaling Everest and he disappeared along with his climbing partner Andrew Irvine in 1924. Sadly, in 1999, Mallory’s body was discovered there in the snow capped mountain but Irvine’s remains still remain lost.
The sepia toned photo is an authentic photo of George and Andrew © PA Images / AP showing Mallory and Irvine at their base camp in Nepal, June 1924. This is one of the last known images of the pair before their disappearance.
Speculation as to whether the pair’s final climb was successful continues to this day.
Doug Liman is to direct Tom Hardy in the Sony Pictures movie which is based on Jeffrey Archer’s 2009 novel Paths of Glory.
Side Note: Doug Liman directed Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt and Charlotte Riley in All You Need Is Kill.
